Models 79, B79 and RB79 Series

The Models 79 and B79 are backflow preventer wall hydrants. The B79 is enclosed in a flush mounted wall box. They are designed for use in mild climate areas or within temperature-controlled malls and plazas.

HOSE CONNECTION BACKFLOW PREVENTER - NIDELÒ Model 37HF with ¾ inch male hose thread nozzle, approved under ASSE Standard 1052, listed by IAPMOÒ, Field Testable, Two check valves.
VALVE SEAT –Permanent type brass valve body with large hemispherical seating surface
NO LEAD SOLDER – All Solder joints
STEM  – Hardened stainless steel stem resists damage
PACKING NUT  – Adjustable packing nut. Lock nut prevents packing nut from loosening. Teflon impregnated packing
EXTERIOR FINISH – Standard chrome . Optional – Polished brass or rough brass
INLETS - ¾" female pipe thread. Can be oriented UP, DOWN, RIGHT or LEFT to receive supply line.
MAX PRESSURE - 125 p.s.i.
MAX TEMPERATURE – 120 degrees F.
SHIPPING WEIGHT – Model 79 – 3.5 lbs. -- Model B79 - 11.7 lbs.
